Mono has suggested we ditch the following threads and my thoughts were to put it to the folks on the site to vote on dumping them or keeping them..so you could save your favourite thread or dump the one you hate.
It's your place as much as anyone elses so lets get it sorted.

I take Mono's point, that when you are checking the recent posts for what is going on, that these topics can clog up the pipes a bit.
However, if it is providing enjoyment for other members then I would not want to see it removed.

Another way to look at it is that it gets people back on a regular basis. Once here they may post in other threads and keep them jogging along. I don't really look at them either but hey, whatever floats ya boat  Stew |

I disagree Stewy, I reckon they serve to frustrate & prevent people from coming back... but I agree, the majority rules & if everyone wants to keep 'em, then keep 'em. They shouldn't add to the post count though... otherwise its just post whoring, with people having postcounts & contributing little to the forum! |

Thought...doesn't happen often! Why don't one of the techo heads make the "above in Question" not appear in the top/last 20 posts?? This would keep the log on only read last 20's happy?? And in turn keep the other threads that some people do use! Now...more importantly will my purple wheels look ok with the " Black/ purple pearl" paint and chrome stickers? ?? |

Whinge, whinge pharking whinge! Mono, when I read the newspaper, I skip the Horoscope/Stars, the horse racing section and the wine column because that sort of thing just doesnt interest me but obviously some people read it and get enjoyment from it. |

My main concern is that we are clogging up our site with useless rubbish. It's a free service we have here but I'm sure we will eventually hit some sort of limit on the amount of posts. I say blow them away. Not to mention how much time it must be adding to searching. Keep the storage for more useful topics.

Ok seems 66% of us couldn't give a rats arse so I guess they can stay.........sorry I am unable to remove them from the last 20 posts but as you may have seen already posts in this section don't go on to any post whores counts.
Might dump the ones with the least posts to date but I would really luv to keep the "finish this sentence" thread as it is a real scream to go back thru..............

It is interesting to note that not one person voted to keep them all and only one wants to keep some, as mono said the general concensus seems to be that people dont give a rats about them.
As an alternative why not whack them somewhere like jokes or ashes tray and don't make them a sticky, if they don't get posted in then they will die of natural cause, let darwinism decide

I have made this section a "sub" board in the Jokes and Stuph section
..................some of the stuph is just too good to dump...........and i think that posts in that board still wont show up on the post count.
There is nothing I can do about keeping it out of the .....last 20 post bit.....hope this is good enuff
Now go back to whinging about colours again................it's the most posted topic anyway! #rofl#

Instructions to Save you from Destruction with Ian's Riding Tips
Project Bike with Mods. (It is finished isn't it mono?)
Ashes Tray and General have become one and the same thing. Merge em.
