I have recently fitted a set of two brothers cans to the VTR and it seems one can is always warmer than the other? I guess this is supposed to be normal? Gary.

if ya pull your cans off and look into the 'Y' section (were the pipes go into 1 then back into 2)you will see that one side is half blocked on the standard exhaust (the rightside from memory) I would guess that is y one pipe is hotter Less gas flowing though it

its not uncommen on v-twins for the rear cly exhaust to run marginally hotter than the front cly exhaust simply because of airflow to the rear cly, inturn the rear cly ex gases will transfer additional heat to the left can creating this situation. i have experienced this on tl's & r, sv's, cagiva raptors and aprilla's. i wouldn't be to concerned unless it is affecting ur f/mixtures in particular.
