Is there any difference between the 04 brake and clutch master cylinder assy and the 05 assy? Aside from the obvious solid metal resevoir is there any other difference?
My 04 plastic ones are cracking but not leaking. The Honda parts guy reckons he never sells plastic replacement resevoirs as they don't actually fail. The metal replacement ones are more expensive but you would think more reliable.

I've bought the reservoirs. The clutch, brake, and coolant ones. All plastics deteriorate with UV. I can't complain about the life, but they will craze over time. They aren't that expensive.

Is there any differences in the size of the master cylinder or piston size with the later models, any benefit in changing if you have the earlier mod

I think they remained the same size.

So just the reservoirs changed, in the late 04/05 mods? They look heaps better than the plastic ones
