I know this is an old thread and tyres have probably reinvented since but it's all good info in here. I gave used the pilot powers and loved them but that was on a much lighter bike. I currently use a maxxis presa sport on the back and it was purely just a financial thing at the time but I have to say this tyre is the ducks nuts. Quick warm up, superb grip in the dry, haven't ridden in the wet yet but wear is also good. I got this for $120 delivered and now they sell close to $400 so not sure what happened there

Just put Dunlop Q3's front and rear Feel great. got 300km on them and have no problems with confidence. No wet riding as of yet.
Ran Pirelli Supercorsa front and Rosso rear before this, liked them but tyre life is very short on the SC Front.
