2002 model- cams, open exhausts normal stuff, ran like a bit of a raped ape under 3k rpm, had a K&N filter in it, just went back to a genuine Hinda airfilter on the weekend... very large improvement in snatchiness at low revs, much smoother.
Lets see how it goes on fuel and at highway cruising, etc.

I recently installed a K&N Air Filter which made the bike more responsive however at low revs and idle it wold occasionally cough back through the carbs. On one occasion actually stalling at the lights. SOLUTION: Turn both mixture screws IN by 1/8th turn. RESULT: Purfect idle, perfect response up to 3000 where main jetting takes over. Not a single cough since!
