Guys in a bike shop in Taren Point are building one to race. Not sure which class though (can't remember which shop either)

The late Rob Carrall won FX on his Storm around1997/98 (I really should pay more attention). His bike is now back on the road and ridden by one of the Central Coast members on here!

So you know the owner? Being on the coast I wouldn't mind catching up with him and going over it

I wish some of the Newy guys would look in here, they'd be able to tell you more. I know he came on one of the Walcha rides once (can punt it along too, just quietly)

Yeah I can't remember his username either. My Brain has gone like swiss cheese as I get older. I did a couple of rides with him and the Newy crew. Also a track day at Oran Park just before it closed. Saz and Gordy and Rob Carroll were there as well as a few others. Rob took his old bike for a session and rode his Fireblade in the other sessions. That storm was fast. He had replaced the stock airbox with one he made out of Carbon Fibre, basically filled the whole area with it to make the volume as big as possible. As for Rob, he was super fast and a really nice guy. Generous with his advice, friendly and had some great stories. I was gutted to hear of him passing away.

RB Racing at Taren Point is the joint building the race bike, I saw it in there a few months back when they were sorting my jet kit, filter and dyno tune. Came back a couple over 100 ponies and torque was ninety something. Have to find the spreadsheet for actual numbers. A before/after would have been nice but I didn't want to pay for more dyno time...
