Got my new MIG Welder today - my Dad and bro hooked me up with a flash Gas/Gasless jobbie that looks very nice.
Haven't used it yet, but can't wait.

I've had an Italian bike before. Nice but too exxy to maintain.
The exhaust is on the list - for sure.

I bought one last christmas. I had to make a new exhaust system for my Subaru. The cost of the pipe and welder was still cheaper than an exhaust system, and off course I still have the welder to use on other stuff. It has come in handy. While much of the stuff I have done with it, could have been done with my old stick welder, it was just a lot more convenient to do with the mig.

It's amazing how often you can use a mig when you are a tinkerer.
I run gas with mine as it allows me to use smaller gauge wire, which is good for small jobs. Flux cored wire has a larger diameter in its smallest size.
Car exhaust might be on my list too Colin. I need a new one for my diesel Patrol, and $1000 sounds a lot for some pipe. Making the flange for the turbo dump will be the hard bit.
