Preferences are for Castrol TT or Belray , which is what I used to smoke when I was a kid. It's a 1972 Kawasaki S2 350cc two stroke triple. Needs work to get it to a running state , but it's not bad for 40 years old. Graham

Cool little bike , I searched high and low for one when i was a young guy just starting to ride , had a couple of mates who had H2 750's and on who had a H1 500 , all used to go like a shower of shite but handling was a bit dodgy , that'll be worth a few bux when you've got it done up , not to mention being a heap of fun .If you get sick of it you could always do something like this 750

Saw it on ebay , I drove down to Melbourne last Friday and drove back on Saturday with it on Russ's ute. Been thinking about getting a project for a while , and I like the idea of something simple (just like me ). Pretty much all there , but not 100% original , the forks look like they're off something else , different tacho and a rivetted on ducktail , but I think its pretty cool anyway . I wasnt after a concourse show winner , just something to play with Graham ps: 6 in the shed now Erno!

I don’t think you are stupid. You just have a bad luck when thinking.

Good on ya! I love the old 2-strokes.
My suggestion is Rock, if you can still get it. I used to pull down the dirt bikes for look-see and notice all bearing coated in a light film, yet it burned clean and didnt foul the plug. Smells like castor when it burns, so very pleasant on the nose.
I have been looking for an old bike to restore for a while now. But everytime I look at doing it I think about just buying a W800 or a CB1100F, something that wont break down half way up the Putty, and I can still get parts for them.

I just love Kwaka's but I don't have one. You're a bastard Graham! Perhaps you should give serious consideration to restoring an 86 KR250 and letting me run it in for you as I have done it before.

I dont have one either Glenn. I have two They have both recently begun living together at another address , in the hope that they will spawn something big , loud and environmentally unfriendly before they become pretty. In the meantime , something caMowflaged has taken their place beneath the spanners . And I CAN spell camouflage properly.
