Well I've gone & done it, I've bought a '08' Triumph street triple R. Those of you that went to walcha (my 1st time) might remember that a nice guy in the caravan park offered me ride of his CBR600RR well, I came back with a smile from ear to ear & that got me thinking..... I had owned my storm I called Rhonda since 2010 (with some time in storage) her & I had done a couple of trips & commuted to work as well, but on two separate occasions I nearly dropped her (mind you after travelling 600kms I'm a bit tired) I managed to hold on & keep her upright both times, (call me a whoose but ) when I tried the lighter bike it seemed to suit me more, so I was just looking around (as you do) & came up with the street triple which has fit me like a glove, I'm very grateful to the storm as I believe that she has taught me how to ride & have fond memories to keep, hopefully you'll guys will put up with me around being storm less

I don’t think you are stupid. You just have a bad luck when thinking.

A mate of mine had one. He put the arrow exhaust system on it and it went like a scalded cat. I didn't like the seating position myself it still felt like you were leaning forward but I'm sure you will like the bike overall.....it has a real hooligan factor...very quick. Oh and be careful he did his license on it.

Yeah your right sharpie, I thought the honda was good, until i tried the trumpet, she sticks like ---- on a blanket, I actually feel guilty cause its soooooo easy to ride & the commute to work is a joy now, just a bit chilly can't wait till summer think I'll be living on it & yeah I'm looking around for a set of arrows all those little add ons are really expensive it'll be a running work in progress

Nice choice - there's a growing fan base of Trumpies on this forum! Myself included. Enjoy ;D
