Joined the forum recently & picked up this 03 storm on the weekend. Currently has: Stain tune pipes Rear hugger Rear seat cowl Lower fairing Polished lip on wheels Tinted screen Led indicators Also has what I believe is an undertail mod. Tail tidy maybe? I have no idea what it's called but I don't think it's stock I've got a new HRC tank pad & fuel cap grip on the way as well as some new bar ends. Knowing me, this won't be the end of the spending

I just took it for roadworthy & it didn't pass due to the 'crackle' in the pipes putting me over Nothing was said about indicators. He just checked vin & frame no's pretty much

My dad suggested disconnecting the cans from the headers & putting in a plate with a heap of holes drilled in & some chicken wire filled with steel wool behind it. Obviously take it all out after inspection. I like the idea of genuine stain tune baffles though. Just in case the popo nit-pick & defect for noise. Would be handy to have on standby

Bit hard to borrow things, being way down south & 500kms from nearest capital city where most people probly live. I've got onto peter Stevens in geelong this morning about getting the genuine staintune restrictors. He'll get back to me early next week with p&a

Cheers mate I'm happy as hell with it Got restrictors on the way for it as I couldn't find anything in the way of DB killers. Picked up a new key & got it cut today. It's sleeping inside, all covered up now, as there's no room in the shed for 2 bikes & a car. Might help me to not be so tempted to ride it

Had a couple of new bits arrive yesterday HRC tank pad & fuel cap grip Swing arm lifting platforms (Kaneg) 90 degree valves (Kaneg) & most importantly my workshop manual Still waiting on bar ends, new levers & exhaust restrictors Also looking at getting a new windscreen. There's a Puig double bubble one on eBay I found but it's roughly $200 with postage. Any recommendations on where I might find a good alternative that's not cheap Chinese crap?

I fitted a screens for bikes screen a week ago. It's a fuggen ripper. Dark smoke db profile. It's my bike that's featured on their website for the Storm screens. $140 delivered.

Spent last night swapping over the tail & rewriting the rear led indicators & number plate light & fitting my S.A plate. The earth for the number plate led was wired into the brake wire so when you apply the brake it cut out. Obviously it was too hard for the previous wiring genius to mount it to the rear subframe bolt with a ring terminal haha. Also fitted a variable flasher relay so no hyper flashing anymore. Manual CCT's paid for & on the way from www.kriegercamchaintensioners.com

Awesome mate. Good job. I had a friend do my MCCT's last Fri. Its not a job for anyone lacking confidence despite what the instructions say Very happy with the result and no extra engine noise.

@ kodie01 - where did you get the flasher unit as I don't want to be the cause of a fit for someone behind me m.ebay.com.au/itm/221393202072?nav=SEARCHThis is what I bought. Works a treat. Just drill a small hole in the tab that the original relay slips onto & mount. Completely plug & play I got mine off a seller named jono794
