Hi guys,
wanting to know if steering dampers on the storm are a good idea as I have heard people say they get in the way cause of their position when installed. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Where do you buy them from? I have had a look around and you can get them off ebay for around $140...

I've got a side mount öhlins on mine. Only thing is it hits my knee some times I'd love a Scott damper but they cost far to much

I picked up a Ohlins and made the mounts. Just not fitted it yet as waiting for a fork clamp. Im going to put a rubber bung on the end to stop any chance of injection injury in a crash. Got it off the local version of Ebay for $50.

a well setup storm doesn't need it. If you find you need it you have issues to sort.

Im guessing your right there Brian as those forks have really made the world of difference to my machine. What a difference a well sorted front end makes to this beast. Thanks

Well ive had it to about 210kph thus far and its stable so I wont bother at this stage. I may do if I drop the crowns some more but it turns in well now.

Yeah mine feels very stable so no need at the moment but as you say dropped them too far and that could all change very quickly at those speeds.
