Hi guys,
Been a long time since I was on here probably no one left that would remember me :-)
Anyhoooo, after 5 years uni and a divorce :-) I'm happy to say I still have my storm !!
She looks a bit older now with 90k + on the clock she still runs like a dream.
I now live in Darwin and was wondering if there are any storm members up in the NT?
A few guys at my work ride and I am the one that organises ride days, so if any one out there is keen email me on 00shane00@gmail.com
I'm so happy to know the site is still up and running !!!
Peace
Shane

Awwww thanks guys I remember your names as well :-)
Awesome that your here as well
I was hoping that despite the storm being off the shelf for long time now that this site would be stronger than ever
Looking around it appears it's well supported !!
I intend to log in regularly now and get in amongst the hot topics
I would never sell my storm although when I'm back in Melbourne at the end of the year I will buy the S1000RR I test rode one for a day last year from BMW but just as I was about to buy I was shifted to Darwin so I took the storm with me instead
Hope all is going well with everyone !!

No I havent mores the pity, perhaps I should in the lead up to going down the BMW avenue, i will investigate when I get back to Melbourne. As a side note, I was in at Ducati around September last year making noises about perhaps a purchase (around the time I was riding and looking at the S1000RR), but after they found out I was going to comute on it and averaged around 15000 k's a year, they flat out talked me out of it saying that the bikes just wont cope with it and Ill end up in the shop forking out a lot of hard earned hmmmm lol they wanted me to go buy a Fireblade go figure

RSV4 is the go! I have paid for my Tuono and am waiting to get the time to pick it up.
Even though I have paid for it I have asked for it not to be registered until instructed!!
I have owned 42bikes to date and I just can't get over the way that the zV4 wails.
My Storm, with the lightened flywheel and other mods is enough 4 me, so picking up the Tuono is going to be an experience!
Lots to learn here, will keep U posted!
I have had a go with a BMW S1000RR and can honestly say that it was more than what I needed or wanted and this bike served to validate that the Storm was a great all round mount that did all things well and nothing bad especially when modded 2 suit their owners needs!!!!!
