Front tyre is on, back tyre ready to prep for tyre fitment. Hope to fit front tonight! Took the rim to a bike shop near work to get the tyre fitted and the guy asked me who did the rim, and what sort of bike it was off. That almost made this whole saga worth it but the proof will be when they are mounted on the bike, but bloody happy with the result so far. A little bit of detailing to do still, but it looks good so far.

Jobs done. Little bit of tidying up but overall happy with the look. May redo forks as not 100 percent if you look closely.

Finally got to go for a ride.
As suspected by replacing the chain, sprockets and Cush drive rubbers the niggling vibration is gone!
Yahoo, rides nice and smooth now!
Almost forgot how much fun the Storm is.
Now to go over everything and check that all is as it should be.

Hey Kenmoore it looks great. All that hard work has paid off. Can you show me pictures of the stands you used when you had removed your swing arm please.

Nothing special, Trolley jack under rear of lower frame section behind motor and strapped down to keep it stable. It stayed like that for a week or so. Having a bike lift helps as well.
