Well its cold and wet, the wife's gone to work and i'm bored, so its out to the garage and attack the Storm Tools out, and go..... Seat off, tank off, fairings off. front guard off calipers off, gauges off, front sub frame off, front wheel off, then airbox off, ram tubes off, pairs crap off, spark plugs out,and rocker covers off Hmmm should put at least something back on,( well ive got the manual cct's from the Craig Andrews donation lot,big thanks to Jamie) so lets do them then. Easy as, (helps having all that stuff out of the way) less than 30 minutes and all timed up perfect and adjusted as per manufacturers instructions Now should i fit up those commodore guard repeaters that ive had for 2 years at least, or give it a service? Ok lets drain the coolant, and the oil and go and make a coffee and a sandwich Should go on line and see whats happening on the Storm forums. So thats where i am, sitting here having a coffee and sandwich ,before i venture out to the garage and into attack mode again
Cheers, Pete

Well its not wet and cold today but it is windy so off to the garage Now whats first, i know i'll get rid of the "pairs) crap So off with covers, reverse the reed valve stops, and refit Undo actuator and hoses and toss into the left over bits box. Put bungs on the fittings job done While looking in the leftover bits box i spied a piece of 25mm square ally, so out with the micrometer and its 6mm thick. See where this is going?...yup time for a shock spacer. Drill a 10mm hole in the centre open 10mm slot to edge, dress up and done Grab the foldable engine crane, and ratchet strap, lift bike and slide spacer into place, lower bike and finished. Dog arrived with his lead in his mouth, so thats me for the day Cheers Pete

Let me know the difference with the pairs disabled //stay upright\\ I did it on my old storm years ago. It really reduced the backfiring and farting on deceleration. Before it was popping and backfiring that bad it sometimes stalled. It still sounded awesome on the overrun but a more consistent growl without the explosions if you get what I mean.
