Hi guys,
I'm interested in doing some track days and I have been looking at the coach lite one at Eastern Creek. Has anyone done this particular course and what was it like? Is it worth the money or would you recommend something else?

I haven't done that one mate but I have been eyeing the 3 days for $499 package! Looks like it'd be pretty good, 7x15 minute sessions, small groups, no classroom.... All days are weekdays though.

Yes that's the one I'm looking at too. Just need to get work sorted and then pay my money. I will let you know when I'm ready and if your keen maybe we can go together.

I made some inquiries about track days with Champions a while back , not the advanced rider sort of days but just normal track days , we were asking whether it would be possible to do a group day like say all VTRs and they said what they can do is fit you in between the other groups , they give you 7 sessions in a day between normal guys who have paid their yearly fees or just to go out on the day , the beauty of it would be that you just go out with your group of friends , guys your used to riding with and feel comfortable out there with , not being passed by some guy just on his first big bike , being a S1000RR and he's going past your handle bars at 290 on the straights and scaring the ba jeezus out of you , she didn't get back with a price for the day though and Im pretty sure she said you'd need at least 10 people

It was a lady named Nicole mate , I didn't actually speak with her on the phone yet Id been emailing her and she left a number to contact her to arrange a Buell group day , but we didn't get enough interest .

When she got back to me at the time she said we'd need 25 guys minimum to make it work and we just didn't get that sort of interest in it , I was really dissapointed as the pricing was great , 135 per person on a Friday or 165pp on a Saturday at Queensland Raceway , 7 x 15 min sessions during the day , would have been fun .

Would be good if we got enough Firestorms and Buells together to make up the numbers for a day , make for a good noise when everyone was out on the track if nothing else

Just finished a track- day here in Perth , newbie on the track so was only level one ! Coaches were ver informative and happy to expel their knowledge , good to follow up on the info on this forum. Great to blow the cobwebs out of the bike and tip into a few corners . cheers

Satisfying to the extent whereby you felt comfortable in a controlled environment to push your comfort zone knowing also that if you binned your shite , a ambo would be there within a couple of minutes,! Having also been a volunteer flaggie for MCRCWA, and attended race days and tuning/track days certainly made me feel more relaxed. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but I am confident I'll be a better rider for the experience. Cheers

I have raced cars for many years but have never had the bike out there so I'm looking forward to it

Track days are great for teaching you the skills to get out of trouble on the road. A corner that tightens unexpectedly becomes fun not an accident.

Track days really are awesome....so much to learn about yourself, your abilities and just the general things you can do on the bike. Also learn what your bike can and can't do !

Just did a track day on the old girl at Queensland Raceway , performed well , handling was perfect with the mods and it was keeping most of the mid cc 4s honest on the straight , a few pics . Attachments:
