Hi all.. I was wondering if anybody uses a rear wheel stand with the vtr and how you do this. I can't find anywhere on the swing arm where you can attach the spool needed for the trolley stand to lift the bike by.

Hey mate if you use a rear stand that had the L brackets you will be fine. There has been posts about this before and there have been swing arm mods done to cater for the bobbins to be fitted so it can be done

I just use the type that cradle the swing arm. They work OK. You can see the VTR in the background, it has been sitting like that for 12 months. I've actually done a fair bit of work on lately. I should have all the body work painted in a couple of days.

I have 3x3 garden shed out the back that I'm moving most of the lesser used stuff like gantry and engine stands, and also most of the garden equipment. But I still have crap everywhere. Between 3 boats, 2 spare outboards, 3 bikes, 1 box trailer, and 3 cars; it is hard finding any room. Thankfully I have a separate lock up tool room at the back of the shed where I can keep the bulk of my more expensive tools and equipment away from the eager hands of my sons The shed at my old place at Tanilba Bay was a lot better.

Nah you can have the mess but just having a shed that big and having two bikes to play with. I have to move one car out at the moment to work on my bike and the wife gets upset if the car is left out for too long.... You know how it goes. Should be sorted in the new year as I have a 3x3 also going in the back and having power and lights etc installed.... Cannot wait

I have a enclosed two car carport for the cars. I put 3X3 shed in the backyard a couple of years ago and moved all the bigger stuff like engine stands, gantry, and garden equipment out there. I need a bigger one though, between my sons and me there are always too many things on the go at the same time.
