Hi, Newby Poster here, Been checking out the forums for a while and have finally gotten around to working on my VTR again for the summer. I have done the VFR800 Clip on's mod and lowered the footpegs. Being 6'3" in old school terms, this has definately made the bike so much more comfortable. I have finally gotten a very decent 19 Lt tank at a good price to replace the 16lt standard one on my 98 model Vtr but the tank just came as a bare tank. Ive gone through the posts for doing the upgrade to the 19lt tank and realise i need some newer model parts but nowhere can i find on here the actual part numbers I need to complete the transfer. I am just going to use my dash and the original fuel sensor plate. so what are the part numbers for the newer model fuel tap/petdoodle and assosiated hoses i need to be able to complete the job.? Cheers Jase

Hi mate and welcome to the forum. To answer your question have you tried looking up partszilla.com they have a very comprehensive range of parts and can supply part numbers for all your needs. Let us know how you get on. Thanks for the welcome. I've done that and have a rough Idea. Attached is the Fiche of the Tank with what I think I need being:
2. Joint ASSY., Fuel - 16950-MBB-D41 5. Tube A, Fuel - 16955-MBB-D40 7. *ock Assy., AUTO - 16970-MBB-D43
not sure on what else, any other hoses and what o-ring for refitting the low fuel sender probably number 28 I think.
also on the older bike, where does the assembly mount ?
Cheers
Jase
