Has anyone had issues with thier fuel cap not opening? It was a hot day here yesterday and when I went to refuel I couldn't get the cap to open, it would unlock but wouldnt open (kept getting caught). I had enough fuel to get home where i was eventually able to open it. Is there any adjustments for the cap?

Yes but only to the point of a decent jiggle, i took it out and gave it a good clean and lube. Also on a hot day

Thanks bsbr, it took more than a decent jiggle to open so i will pull it out and see if i can give it a little more clearance and a lube, hopefully that will sort it.

A good clean and lube will fix it. You will find that the two locking lugs aren't retracting enough to allow it to unlock.

Locking lugs are retracting correctly its what they are housed in thats fouling in the throat of the tank hopefully i can manipulate the cap to give it clearance. That's this weekends job I'll let you know how I go.
