Hi guys
I'm after some info and feedback from those that may know or have done this swap.
I have access to a full 954 front end which includes clip Ons, forks, triples, axle, wheel, calipers, master cylinder and guard
I already have my forks upgraded with better springs and I do like the way you t handles but this seems like such a better set up.
I am asking for info on is it a worthy upgrade, benefits of usd forks etc
Are there any downfalls to this set up?
Thanks

Also interested in this, if i do a fork swap the 954 looks the right option. I changed to tokico 4 pot calipers yesterday, new fork oil and adjusted the settings, dropped 8mm through the triple clamps, 80% supercorsa on tge front feels a lot better but I'm mainly commuting so balance and a less chattery front was my aim

I have a CBR954RR front end as you describe. I am extremely happy with it, maybe I have chosen function over form, although not many notice the different wheels. The standard 954 bars may not be high enough for some, and in that case clip-ons with a 50mm rise will work. Also the inner front fairing panels need to be removed for clearance. For me there are no downfalls, the truth is you end up with very robust forks that have greater adjustment.

I am currently aquireing the parts to do an conversion using ZX10r parts.
Just waiting for the lower tripple and front fender..
About to go on hols so it will be a while before I start.
I will make a thread. Mikstr in Canada has the same setup on his bike and he swears by it. I bought some parts from him and took his advice.
All up I reckon the parts will be a grand.
The following is what's required. . 2005 ZX10 Forks
07-12 CBR 600rr series 40 lower triple.
A set of tapered stem bearings
09 Daytona 675 calipers with 10mm machined off the shoulders, shorter Caliper bolts , new brake lines and a suitable master cylinder. I got a Daytona one with the calipers.
Spacers for the wheel to put the discs in the right position.
A set of adjustable handle bars
A ZX10 Front fender.
New grips.
No doubt a heap of new bolts etc will be required as well and lots of time .
Looking forward to joining the USD club!
