Hey guys been trying to search this but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've got an 07 bike and the forks are about 10mm above the clipons is this standard or have they already been raised to improve turn in? What is the standard height above the clipons?
Thanks Daz

10mm is about right.
Anymore and the back gets a bit twitchy.
Do you have a shim under your back shock?

Ok Thanks, so the forks are set to the right position then. I haven't been able to check if the rear shim has been done yet. I'll have a look this weekend hopefully. My brother-in-law whom I bought the bike from has misplaced all the books and services history for the bike so I'm running a little blind to what the bike has done to it. He assures me that they are on his house somewhere.☺

Yeah about 10mm + or - to suit your needs. You be able to pull the seat of and check at the top of rear shock to see if there is a spacer or not in there.
Just be careful first ride out with the shim as it does change the turn in a fair bit
