I am about to do an Upside Down front end conversion and am looking for a decent after market shock.
If anyone has one to sell please P.M me.
Thanks

Why not get a converted F4I shock from Daugherty Motorsports?
You buy the second hand shock from someone in the US on eBay and send it to Jamie to get it converted for your weight etc.
Usually works out to be around 300 to 400 AUD$ and takes a few weeks. No sorry, he's now quoting $US420
Had them on both my Firestorms. Works a treat.

Have thought about that.
I can buy a YSS cheaper and then the lunacy starts.
Just thought that there may be someone on here with a decent shock gathering dust.
Thanks for the input, it's appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Ken,
I have just put a wilbers shock on and wow what a difference. Well worth the money mate.
I had a Penske shock that I sold late last year so nothing on my shelves at the moment

Thanks Ken Hi Ken just a thought for you if you don't go the Wilbers or other's route , I just had my standard shock snazzed up with a Hyperpro spring for my weight installed then the bike set up by the guy that did it all XXX Suspension here in Bris , Im sure there are similar guys close to you , the Hyperpro spring was about 250 and the guy put it on for 50 and charged another 50 for the pro suspension set up , you dont have as many settings as with some of the dearer options but in reality unless your racing you don't really need all that , just something to mull over

Hey Griffo,
Have already had work done to the standard shock, painted the spring yellow.
I am starting to lean towards a YSS shock from the U.K for about $550- landed.
Definitely not "top shelf " however they get good reports on the U.K site.

Mines working brilliantly now with the heavier spring and a re valve most of my handling issues were front end in reality the back wasn't too bad and the Racetech springs and Coerce fork brace seem to have it sorted all round , having the suspension set up by a professional is something I can highly recommend to that made a lot of difference , I haven't looked into the YSS before .
