G'day from Vic,
Just picked up my firestorm last night, my first large capacity v twin so far.
My last road bike was a gsx1400 which I loved.
Racked up a few hundred km's today and the vtr is certainly not as comfy, smooth, fuel efficient or powerful as the gsx but wow, what a HOOT to ride! Love it!
I look forward to searching the forum for tips and quirks as I will service and maintain the bike myself
Cheers
Macsy

Welcome mate
Yes very different bike.... but that grin factor you get when riding it cannot be beaten. Enjoy every minute as I’m sure you will

Thanks fellas,
Just been on a shopping trip to make the bike more comfortable and practical.
Got some later model clip ons, bar risers, peg lowering brackets and a 5.5 litre fuel bladder to keep inside my tail bag. Might also look at trying to find a tank and air box from a wrecking 01 + model.
