I'm chasing the seat cowl fairing, red if possible but any color will do. If you have one to sell or know where I can get one I would appreciate it.

They’re rare as hens teeth mate, everybody wants one. $180 new, can be found here www.cjcycles.com.au/parts/?type=MB&year=2005&model=2824 which I think is a ridiculous price to pay for a piece of plastic, but if you want it... Or you could try what the rest of us do, and leave your name and number at the local wrecker and cross your fingers.

Keep an eye on ebay and Gumtree as occasionally s/h ones appear for a reasonable price, Just have to move quick as they never stay on there long. There is a company that has been selling new copies on occasion on ebay for under $100 if I remember right. They are only ever on for a week at a time and then gone for weeks.

Thanks for the reply. Was everything in the kit to fit it ? Seat cowls don't need a fitting kit, they slide over the rear of the seat and clip on to the seat base near the hooks underneath mate. Takes seconds to fit.

Thanks for the info. I have a sheepskin cover on my seat. Will the cowl fit over the top or will i have to remove the cover. It depends on the thickness of the sheepskin cover you may be able to get it over, either that or do like i did originally before i recovered and padded my seat and cut the sheepskin cover shorter in length.
