With the commodore side lights already fitted I'm thinking the outer ring as forward facing indicators and the centre spot for the outer edges of high beam pool...middle of a repaint atm so be a few weeks till a ride

Interesting , will it work ? I rarely ride at night but often I feel like I'm just not seen, I know right! hi-vis, loud pipes and hiding right in plain view! If the goal was to add to the headlight highbeam... the light pattern from the "spots" beam is already 18" with the bike maybe 8 feet from the wall, the stock light pool maybe a foot across...then no but for buggerall and freepost it is better than expected but not a landing light. I imagine there are plenty of 2 inch mega awesome spotlights available but know now they will fit and align in there if that were a perceived need If the goal was to get better forward facing indicators but stealth like use the otherwise useless vents...then...yeah I think they work...maybe black mesh over the opening to further stealth them? The spot is really bright looking back at it Am liking the halo with the hiss light thought...or all the time...or indicators
