DMr shock arrived. While changing it I found one of the the lower link needlerollers shot...replaced rollers and seals and fitted a grease nipple

The shock is good, bit nicer turning in. I wish I'd done it sooner,
How much did the fork cartridges hurt? I thought the shock was a bargain

I think it was about $1000aud landed in australia, worth every cent in my opinion. The difference is amazing. I've also put some 0.95 springs in the front. I've now been playing with the setup and I've ended up pushing the forks through the triple trees by 10mm and adding a 3mm spacer to the rear shock mount. Now it tips in easy, change off direction is like never before and holds it's line right through the corner and out under power no problem at all. Next is to brace the rear swing arm.

The DMr shock i got was longer than the original shock so I didn't refit the rear shim .

Mine is extended as well, I found the bike handles better with a 3mm shim as well.

Bet it goes in well, finding mine pretty neutral in and settled out (DMR, no spacer and down ten in front, 95kg springs and heavy fork oil) Pretty happy as it is now...tho that electric water pump mod...mmmm

I find the bike very flickable now, the back end feels very planted and I can definitely get on the gas a lot earlier and harder now. I'm running Pirelli Rosso 3 and they look to be wearing really nicely and now come up to temperature quick. What are you using for an electric water pump and how do you find it, does the motor stay at a more consistent temperature

What are you using for an electric water pump and how do you find it, does the motor stay at a more consistent temperature Kenmore has one, manually controlled I believe with all the mechanical water pump bits removed. I haven't taken the plunge yet. I promised nothing more mods for a while, just ride and enjoy, don't mess with it I said but I didn't listen...might have been thinking about the bike A water pump has been considered but the control module to do anything smart was a bit expensive...still dwelling on it. Prob do it and all the hoses next coolant change. Mine blows down on cold days at highway speed, seen it in the sixties...rather it stayed a bit hotter and it makes sense.
