I am not bragging, don't need to at my age !
I run standard gearing with many mods and a much lighter than standard bike and have on more than one occasion seen 250 ish.
Can't tell you at what revs exactly , obviously in the 9's.
I certainly don't want any more power up top .
The thing that impresses me most about the VTR is how it goes about its business, how easy it is to own and the return that it gives.
Mine does things it shouldn't but that's why I built it the way it is now.
I could have bought a new bike for what it owes me however after trying/ owning various other bikes whilst I have the VTR I don't even think about it any more.
I would rather play with the VTR and give my mates the shits because of how it goes, looks and handles.
I am 62 soon and when people ask me about the VTR and I start telling them what I have done a few say WHY ?
I say because I can and it is a real bike that is raw in its riding experience unlike some other bikes I have owned.
In other words it still holds its own and has that all elusive character.
