Hi Can anyone suggest a fix. I used a degreaser on my bike and it has reacted with the aluminum of the frame and the engine side covers. I am assuming I will need to polish the frame but will need to get the engine covers re coated. These are magnesium I think. I think they are anodised. Can anyone help Photo is what it used to look like. Now it has all runs down the frame and brown marks like oil stains on the covers.

I can't see your pictures but engine covers are painted from standard. Autosol on the alloy and cutting compound on the paint? What sort of degreaser should we all avoid? I use hot water and laundry powder to clean dirt bikes and tyres...some degreasers feel caustic
