Welcome aboard. Good luck with the purchase. Check to see if the Auto Cam Chain Tensioners have been replaced with manuals, as the Autos fail and cause valve damage. There are very few faults with a VTR. Auto Cam Chain tensioners, Voltage Regulator/Rectifier can fail.(one of our USA members does a Mosfet Reg/Rec upgrade kit. Front springs are too soft for most riders but not expensive to upgrade. There are a myriad of modifications that can be done to improve and personalise them and the V twin grin is addictive. What area in Qld are you. I am Parkwood Gold Coast.

I've already done some research. The CCT and the R&R is the first thing I'll check. I'm on the north side of Brisbane at Petrie.

I picked her up today. She has the MCCT's and an aftermarket R&R (with heatsink), plus Firestorm rad guards, yoshi pipes (without baffles, still not too loud), rear hugger, aftermarket levers, polished wheels, braided front lines, firestorm triple clamp cover and possibly suspension improvements.... She was definitely someone's baby. The wheels were polished completely too. I'll post some pics over the next few days. I've got a feeling one of the previous owners was a member... Or just a fanatic.
