Just looking at getting a new undertail for the VTR at the moment... Just wondering if anyone currently has one? If so, who did you get it thru.. I'm looking at a moto-fx number at the moment for around $600 fitted/painted.

There's a shop in Sydney if you live here, that is a stockist for moto-fx gear called Throttle Stop in Berowra, near the Old Pacific Hwy...They will supply/fit & custom spray it for you...You can also chose from a variety of lights...ie mini's, flushmounts or LED's...
They're the one's that quoted me $600, but I think you can get them cheaper over the net, not 100% sure though...

i did the powerbronze undertail and hugger in carbon fibre look about 12 months ago and it looks great. Around $500-600. Prior to getting it I did shop around and the guys at moto fx were not very interested in stuff for the VTR. Powerbronze, on the other hand, were really helpful...so there you go!

Picked up my undertail from MotoFX after being painted. Also decided to purchase some Libertek Diamond lights for the tail light replacement. Now All I have to do is install the sucker, after I get my bike back from the shop. Here's some shots... Nice new Paint job Libertek Diamond Lights Lights In Place Will post the final results soon....

Finally fitted the undertail today.. Was a little bit fiddly & required some cutting of the exsisting guard etc to retain the battery box & fuses, but I blocked out the "don't f*ck this up or your rooted" voice in the back of my head & went for it Here's the finished product...... Note the New Red '04 model underbelly ... Side view with flushmount front indicators..
