I've been waiting for that one. That mainland sun is a killer, a bit of shade came in handy. Bloody Quarantine wouldn't let me take it back into Tassie though

Tree is gorn. Too many hoons sitting in the middle of the road having an ale and doing burnouts on a corner that others ride/drive in a spirited manner. Hence the carpark/memorial that has been built.

Heading out of town and turn left, not sure of the road but that mountain road is scary for first timers....some of those 15km bends almost need a 3point turn to get around...

That road is scared, it's the road to a town called Berry.
I live in Cambewarra 2 mountains away and a great ride.

I ride it occasionally, usually with the crotch rocket boys.
Slows them down somewhat and gives me an advantage as I have been riding that road over a very long time.
It's not a road to be taken lightly though, and I never ride it when it is windy as the trees tend to drop branches a lot.
A guy on a Harley was killed on there by a falling branch a few years back, and tourists in cars are a nightmare waiting to happen.
Had a couple of close calls over the years!

Yeah, I have seen a few people come to grief on that road.
It really needs some attention now and I tend to avoid it , but about 20 years ago it was good.
Now there are to many uneven bits and tin top tourist wankers everywhere looking at everything except the road.

In front of Johnnos Corner in between Nerriga and Marulan. There was another Storm along for the ride. First time I have ridden with another Storm, so we swapped bikes and compared notes. Interesting day !!! Mine is the one on the right. This place does a good old fashioned burger and the owner is a character. Great weather, good company and roads.
