Hi Kev, yeah I got hold of Craig a couple months ago and he helped me out. Top bloke! Fitted them a few days ago. I was the one that screwed the lock nut down to the flange nut instead of leaving it to lock the dome nut π² I'm in qld, about an hour out of Mackay.
Cheers David

Hello from the Sunshine Coast! New to the OZFirestorm community having just purchased a red '05 model. Bought it and rode 800km back home. Interested in knowing if there are any fellow Stormers on the Coast or relatively near...cheers for now C

Welcome to this great forum. this site was set set up10 years ago by Andy and his team and has and will continue to be a great source of information for the VTR Firestorm. Many great friends have been made while on this forum through great feedback, weekends away and normal weekend rides and I hope that this can continue also. Please feel free to post your questions, ride events, pictures etc and if you can assist with any information you may have on a certain subject please post your answers up as this will make for a far better experience for all users. We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope that you enjoy the forum and meet new and interesting people with a common interest. Thanks VTRStormer Admin john1972@iinet.net.au Bought my VTR a few months ago after not having been on a bike for over 20 years - so good to be back in the saddle and I am really looking forward to getting great tips and advice form you guys.

G'Day All Just bought a red VTR1000F in the West of Oz. Its done some k's and needs a little bit of TLC, but I'm hoping to get it sorted pretty quick. Great to find this forum, looks like there is lots of useful tech info in here. Isn't the internet great! Cheers

Welcome aboard fellas.
This forum isn't very active these days - the Storm' is getting pretty old now - but it's a treasure trove of knowledge, and I can say from personal experience how friendly and helpful people on here have been.
I still have my Storm (bought an 01' back in 2013) and still don't ride it much due to being too busy with family and life, AND the fact that it's hard to find a better bike for the money. It's bullet-proof reliable, can be serviced yourself with basic tools, has plenty of power in a forgiving package for those of us that aren't very experienced riders, and sounds freakin' awesome with some aftermarket cans.
Enjoy the Storm!

G'day everyone. I had a brand new 2000 model back in the day and needed another one. I went and got a nice 2007 model with low km and it deserves to be fixed up a little. It seems quiet in here, which is ok with me, I'm mainly here to learn a few things and check out some pics of other VTRs.

Welcome Trev. The rise of social media has seen the decline of online forums, so yes youβre right it is quiet in here. It used to be a fantastic, really active place to hang out. Luckily for newbs there is still a shitload of info to be found if youβre looking for help or ideas.
